Investigation into Bribing Voters in Masis Region Concludes

S. Baghdasaryan and V. Galustyan accepted an offer to receive 20,000 AMD as a bribe in exchange for voting in favor of the mentioned alliance. They also provided K. Grigoryan with the passport details of their family members and acquaintances. Following this, they repeatedly demanded the bribe money from K. Grigoryan prior to the elections.

Additionally, S. Baghdasaryan and V. Galustyan informed their acquaintances of K. Grigoryan's willingness to bribe as many voters from the Masis region as possible and obtained their consent for voting in favor of the specified alliance in exchange for money. They subsequently communicated this to K. Grigoryan and provided him with the passport details of the aforementioned voters, thereby facilitating the agreement on the election bribery.

K. Grigoryan and R. Hakobyan have been charged under point 2 of part 4 of Article 154.2 of the RA Criminal Code for bribing two or more voters. The preventive measure chosen for them is detention. S. Baghdasaryan and V. Galustyan have been charged under Articles 154.2 and 154.9, part 1 of the RA Criminal Code for receiving and mediating bribes. A non-leaving signature has been selected as a preventive measure for them.

The investigation has concluded. The criminal case has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with a motion to approve and forward it to court.
