Fire Erupts on Erebuni Street Under Control
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia informs that the fire that broke out on Erebuni Street has been extinguished.
“On July 19, at 18:48, the National Center for Crisis Management received a call indicating that the roof of a five-story building on Erebuni Street in Yerevan was on fire. Two fire-rescue teams and an aerial ladder from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan were dispatched to the scene. A '1 BIS' complexity level was declared for the fire, prompting the dispatch of three additional fire teams and the on-duty group from the Division for Organizing Fire-Fighting and Rescue Operations,” the Ministry reported.
Rescuers, in collaboration with the police, are conducting the evacuation of residents. The fire was isolated at 19:51 and extinguished by 20:17,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations stated.
