Collision of KamAZ and Opel in Shirak Region; Opel Overturned, Injuries Reported

A major car accident occurred today, July 19, in the Shirak region. Around 11:40 AM, vehicles driven by 61-year-old Seyran Harutyunyan from the village of Gusana and 36-year-old Edward Mkrtchyan from the Ararat region collided on the 112th km of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Opel vehicle overturned and left the main traffic zone. The driver, Mkrtchyan, along with his passengers—33-year-old Sahakush Sahakyan from the Ararat region, 22-year-old Anahit Margaryan from Yerevan, and 26-year-old Zaven Poghosyan from the Ararat region—were hospitalized with various injuries at the Gyumri Medical Center.
