Today, on July 18, gunshots were reported in Yerevan. Around 21:30, the operational management center of the Yerevan city police received a call reporting that shots had been fired near the National Security Service on Amiryan Street. According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators have determined that one person has been transported to Hospital No. 1 with a gunshot wound.
The police and investigative department are working to establish the identity of the victim. Special forces of the Yerevan city police are conducting intensified operations at the scene. Several citizens gathered at the location, who refused to speak in front of the camera, mentioned: “The bullet is in the field of the police and investigators. Well, let’s see how long it will take to identify that scoundrel, who considers himself above the law in the city center, who has fired shots and perhaps the police and investigators already know that the shooter is a brother of one of the notorious businessmen in Armenia. They have also incorrectly identified the car involved, spreading information that shots were fired from a vehicle with the license plate 01 LN 015, but that car is completely unrelated to the incident.”
