Armenian Singer Performs 'Artsakh' and 'Horovel' in Egypt, Artsakh Flag Displayed on Screen
An Armenian singer from Artsakh, Lusine Martirosyan, held a concert in the Egyptian city of Hurghada. In a phone conversation with an Artsakhpress correspondent, the singer shared her impressions about the concert, stating, 'These days, I am touring various cities in Egypt because I am very interested in the culture of this country. When I arrived in Hurghada, while filling out forms at the reception, I had to indicate my profession, and they found out that I am a singer. That's how they offered me to hold a concert. I agreed to the invitation with great difficulty, as we are living in difficult times after the war, but because we must showcase our cultural values to the world, show that our spirit is unbreakable, and we stand firm, I, as an Artsakh resident, agreed to sing.'
According to her, the concert began with 'Horovel.' 'Then I performed the song 'Artsakh,' during which the Artsakh flag was displayed on a large screen. I felt immense pride when the 'Horovel' of Artsakh was played, showcasing our tricolor in front of everyone,' she emphasized.
