Armen Sarkissian Congratulates Angela Merkel

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has sent a congratulatory message to the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Angela Merkel, on the occasion of her birthday. This was reported by the Press Office of the President of Armenia.

In his congratulatory message, the President noted, “Your personal contribution to the strengthening of Armenian-German relations and the expansion of cooperation in various fields is significant. I greatly appreciate the bilateral relations based on mutual trust, and I am confident that they will contribute to the continuous development and deepening of cooperation between our two countries. I fondly remember our meetings in Yerevan and Berlin, and the consistent implementation of the agreements reached as a result of those meetings will bring a new quality to Armenian-German partnership for the benefit of our peoples' welfare.”
