Who Among the Constitutional Court Judges Opposed the Eradication of the State, and Who Could Not Vote Against It
Only 3 out of all the judges of the Constitutional Court supported the annulment of the election results: Hrayr Tovmasyan, Arievic Petrosyan, and Ashot Khachatryan—the same Ashot Khachatryan whom the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, attempted to bribe and entice for the temporary position of President of the Court after illegally removing Hrayr Tovmasyan from his position. Essentially, however, the extreme challenges faced by the country and his responsibility in participating in their resolution took precedence in Ashot Khachatryan's subconscious.

We were told that Ervand Khundkaryan and Arthur Vagharchyan would likely have voted against the Central Election Commission's decision to leave the election results unchanged if it weren't for the compromising materials they had obtained due to their positions as heads of the Civil and Administrative Chambers of the Supreme Court and the Chair of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law at Yerevan State University, respectively.
In reality, these two judges were brought to the Constitutional Court precisely for this purpose, as they are manageable and unlikely to take drastic measures.
In the case of Edgar Shatiryans, everything is clear. He has friendly ties to the ruling elite, and expecting a sense of responsibility from him is at least naïve. Moreover, he has never stood out with a courageous posture during critical moments, no matter how much he may have a different perspective and stance as a civilian.
Arayik Tunyan’s motives are not very clear either. Thus, yesterday's ruling was made earlier when the authorities were dismantling the Constitutional Court at all costs and appointing manageable individuals in place of the removed judges.
Recall that yesterday, the Constitutional Court upheld the Central Electoral Commission's decision regarding the election results, meaning it rejected the complaints of 4 political forces regarding the annulment of the election results.
