Goris is starting a petition in support of Mayor Arush Arushanyan. The illegal arrest of their mayor has outraged the residents of Goris. Since yesterday, social media has been condemning the illegal actions of the authorities.

“I propose that the residents of Goris city and community organize a petition demanding the immediate release of Arush Arushanyan. This will also serve as a kind of vote of confidence in the mayor. The city should not suffer from cheap political monkey business,” wrote Zakhar Khojababyan on his page.
