Arrest of Young Dashnak Members

The police are restricting citizens' right to freely move without proper explanation. The "Nikola Aghbalyan" student union reports that this morning, the student union of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) and the Armenian Youth Union planned a peaceful awareness-raising action in front of the government building. However, a large number of police forces unjustifiably detained young people, including NAU member Taron Ghazaryan and student union members Garnik Melkumyan and Vardan Galstyan.

The "Nikola Aghbalyan" student union warns that citizens of the Republic of Armenia are no longer safe to walk in the streets of Yerevan.
