Reisi Congratulates Aliyev on Successfully Liberating Azerbaijani Territories

Reisi has congratulated Aliyev on the occasion of the ‘successful liberation of Azerbaijani territories.’ As reported by IRNA, the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic, Ibrahim Reisi, responded to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s congratulatory message, stating, ‘Thank you for the warm congratulations on my election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Taking this opportunity, I also congratulate the Azerbaijani people on the successful liberation of Azerbaijani territories.’

‘The relations between the two brotherly countries are based on fraternal ties, the common history and culture of the two peoples, which creates great opportunities for deepening and developing bilateral relations. I believe that during the fundamental process of establishing Azerbaijan’s sovereignty in the occupied territories and restoring the common borders of the two countries, it is worth using new opportunities to jointly raise the level of cooperation and strengthen the level of security and stability in the region.’
