Contractual Soldiers Will Not Receive Free Meals, Soldiers and Cooks Alert

A wave of protests is rising around the Ministry of Defense. Employees of the canteens in military units are facing a serious issue. In a conversation with ArmLur.am, employees from the economic division of a contractual military unit revealed that the General Staff of the Armed Forces has decided to deprive contractual soldiers of their daily food allocations.

Moreover, according to their statements, this applies to both those on internal duty and those on combat duty. Furthermore, a group of employees from the economic block learned in one day that the daily food provided to contractual soldiers would no longer be available, rendering them unemployed, while the company supplying food to the military units has also refused to pay the cooks' salaries.

Contractual soldiers and employees from the economic block assured us that they will not remain silent and will take concrete steps. The painful part of this situation is that the amount for parliamentary expenses has increased from 50,000 to 250,000, leaving the soldiers hungry.
