Drivers are Angry: Prices of Natural and Compressed Gas Have Increased

According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd", drivers in Armenia are extremely upset as the prices of not only gasoline but also natural and compressed gas are rising. The liquid gas price has increased, now costing 220 drams per liter, while it was previously priced at 190-200 drams a few days ago. Notably, in some gas stations, a liter of liquid gas is being sold for 230 drams.

For example, oil prices have relatively increased on the global market, and the prices of compressed and liquid gas are linked to oil prices. Major suppliers like Russia, Iran, and Iraq have raised their prices because of an overall increase in the global demand for liquid gas.

On the other hand, gasoline prices in Armenia continue to rise. The price of regular gasoline is now 480 drams per liter at Armenian gas stations, and premium gasoline costs 500 drams. Experts predict that fuel prices will increase again in the near future due to rising global oil prices. It is worth noting that the price of diesel fuel has also gone up, now reaching 460 drams. If these prices remain or increase further, it will negatively impact agriculture, as diesel is primarily used for farming activities.
