Considering the Situation in the Caucasus, There is a Need to Support the Further Resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh Issue: Russian Permanent Representative to the OSCE

During a speech at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, Andrey Kelin, addressed the situation in the South Caucasus. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Kelin, addressing Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau, stated, "Considering the difficult situation that has arisen in the South Caucasus, there is a need to assist in the further resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. The most important thing is to stabilize the situation in the region, address acute humanitarian issues, and create prerequisites for a stable political and economic future in the region. The trilateral statements made by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia in 2020 and 2021 have shown this path." It should be noted that Poland will co-chair the OSCE in 2022.
