Azerbaijan Opens New Military Unit in Artsakh
The Azerbaijani authorities have commissioned a new modular military unit in the area of Aghavno in Nagorno-Karabakh, now under Baku's control.
This is reported by minval.az, adding that the construction of new military bases is ongoing in the territories of Nagorno-Karabakh currently under Azerbaijani control.
It is worth recalling that on November 9, the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh. A statement was signed, under which seven regions of Artsakh, as well as Shushi and Hadrut, were handed over to Azerbaijan, with the exception of one village from the Askeran and Martuni regions, as well as the villages of Talish and Mataghis from the Martakert region.
