Azerbaijan Begins Tunnel Construction Towards Shushi Road

Azerbaijan has commenced tunnel construction on the Ahmadbayli-Fizuli-Shushi (Ahmadbayli-Varadara-Shushi) automotive road. According to the new project, the road length will total 84.6 km, incorporating bridges and tunnels.

The tunnels are set to be built in areas with complex terrain and on curves. A total of 7 tunnels will be constructed along the road, with an overall length of 6.3 km. The tunnels will accommodate two-way traffic and will be 12 meters wide.

Furthermore, various complexity intersections are planned to be constructed along the new highway.
