Armenian Ambassador to the US Recalled, Now Appointed to a New Position

The Armenian President has issued decrees recalling Varuzhan Nersesyan from the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the United States and appointing him as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

"Based on paragraph 2 of part 1 of article 132 of the Constitution, Varuzhan Nersesyan is recalled from the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America," states the presidential decree.

Another decree states, "Based on paragraph 2 of part 1 of article 132 of the Constitution, Varuzhan Nersesyan is appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland for a term of three years (with residence in London)."
