A Group of French Deputies is Preparing to Visit the Occupied Territories of Artsakh

The head of the France-Azerbaijan friendship group in the French National Assembly, Deputy Jean-Luc Reitzer, has sent a letter to the head of the working group of the interparliamentary relations committee between France and Azerbaijan, Soltan Mamedov. This was reported by factor.am.

According to Azerbaijani media, the letter states that 'the pro-Armenian stance of a group of French parliamentarians does not reflect the attitude of the French people towards Azerbaijan.' Reitzer emphasized that he has always supported 'Azerbaijan’s just position, while some of his colleagues, influenced by the Armenian community, take the opposing stance.'

Additionally, a delegation from the French parliament has been formed, which is set to visit Azerbaijan. As part of the visit's agenda, their trip to the occupied territories of Artsakh is planned.
