VIDEO: Train Traffic Suspended on Railway Segment Connecting Armenia and Georgia Due to Accident

On July 15, in Lori, a Hyundai passenger vehicle fell from a cliff onto the railway tracks. The accident occurred at the 2610th kilometer of the Alaverdi-Sanahin section.

The vehicle damaged the railway line and other infrastructure near the tracks. This was reported by the South Caucasus Railway. Three injured men were transported to hospitals in Alaverdi and Yerevan.

As a result of the incident, train traffic has been suspended for an extended period on the railway segment connecting Armenia and Georgia. We urge drivers to be cautious while driving and to adhere to traffic regulations.
