In response to a clarifying question about whether the existing social and security situation in the country could serve as grounds for not signing the bill, Sofia Hovsepyan said, "If an MP lacks that moral integrity and brings this bill to the National Assembly while the rest vote for it, ignoring the country’s security situation and the incidents that occurred just yesterday, then what social and security issues are we talking about? If they were thoughtful, this law would not have been conceived or adopted.”

The MP stated that the bill was accepted by the current parliament through the initiative of non-returning MPs to the next parliament, so that if the public criticizes, it will criticize this parliament, while the next parliament will simply benefit. "They have constantly claimed that all the previous thieves have come to parliament, and today they say, let’s increase parliamentary expenses by another 200,000 so that MPs work better, while we have all seen what quality of work both previous and current thieves have done,” said Sofia Hovsepyan.
