CEC Decides to Allow the Detention of Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan

The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has approved a request allowing for the criminal prosecution of Goris community leader Arush Arushanyan and his subsequent detention. This information was shared on Facebook by Gor Abrahamyan, an advisor to the Prosecutor General.

“The decision will be sent to the National Security Service of Armenia for the necessary actions related to the indictment and other procedural steps,” he noted.
