Armenian Ambassador Discusses Cooperation with Zanjan Province Governor in Iran

On July 14, Armenia's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Iran, Artashes Tumanyan, visited Zanjan Province where he met with the governor, Fatollah Haghighi. The parties discussed various issues related to cooperation in economic, cultural, and tourism sectors.

Particular attention was paid to increasing trade volumes, implementing joint investment projects, inter-university cooperation, and exchanging experiences in the field of innovative technologies. During the visit, a business conference was held at the Zanjan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture.

Ambassador Tumanyan presented the Armenian economy, the state of the business environment, opportunities for implementing joint investment projects, prospects for cooperation within the framework of the EEU, and addressed numerous questions from the attendees.

In Zanjan, the Armenian ambassador also visited several production enterprises, during which the possibilities for economic activities in Armenia were discussed.
