Amazon Prime Accidentally Aired a New Episode of 'Rick and Morty' Scheduled to Premiere in August

The Canadian division of the streaming service Amazon Prime mistakenly aired the seventh episode of the fifth season of the animated series 'Rick and Morty' ahead of its scheduled release, according to reports from Comic Book and Know Your Meme.

The episode titled 'Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion' was shown to Canadian audiences instead of the fourth episode of the series. The error was quickly identified and corrected, but the seventh episode can still be found online.

The official premiere is set for August 1st. According to the plot of the upcoming episode, Rick is planning to embark on an adventure with Morty and Summer. However, the grandfather finds a mechanical xylophone and alters his plans.

The premiere of the first season of 'Rick and Morty' took place on June 20, 2021. This season will consist of nine episodes and will not be the last.
