1000 New Graves to Be Built in Yerablur

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia plans to build 1000 graves in the "Yerablur" military pantheon and carry out landscaping works in the area.

According to the ministry's estimates, the projected costs will amount to 1.5 billion AMD. The Ministry of Defense has appealed to the government with a proposal to secure these funds and implement the project. A decision on budget allocation was made during today's government meeting without any reporting or discussion.

Incidentally, on May 26, 2021, the ministry announced a tender for the construction of graves and landscaping works in Yerablur, but the deadline for submitting applications ended on July 2, with no companies applying to participate. Now, considering the urgent need for the work, the ministry has decided to proceed with a single-source procurement method. The government has also approved this proposal from the Ministry of Defense.
