The Trial of Lyudvig Mkrtchyan and Alyosha Khosrovyan Continues at the Baku Military Court

On July 14, at the Yasamal district court, the trial of Armenian prisoners of war Lyudvig Mkrtchyan and Alyosha Khosrovyan is ongoing regarding the criminal case against them.

Baku accuses them of "torturing Azerbaijani prisoners and committing other serious crimes" during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War.

According to a correspondent from haqqin.az in the courtroom, during the session chaired by Judge Elbey Allakhverdiyev of the Baku Military Court, the prosecutor has requested a sentence for the defendants.

It is noted that Lyudvig Mkrtchyan and Alyosha Khosrovyan are charged under Articles 113 (torture), 115.2 (violation of the laws and customs of war), 279.1 (creation of illegal armed formations or groups), and 318.2 (illegal crossing of the state border) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
