Prosecutor's Office Seeks Permission from CCC to Arrest Arush Arushanyan

The Prosecutor's Office has filed a request with the Central Election Commission (CEC) to obtain permission for the criminal prosecution of Arush Arushanyan, the mayor of Goris, and to select arrest as a measure of restraint.

Recently, a similar request was submitted regarding Artur Sargsyan, the mayor of Sisian. It is worth noting that currently four mayors from the Syunik province are in custody: Mikayel Zakaryan, the head of the Meghri community, Manvel Paramazyan, the mayor of Kajaran, Suren Ohanyan, the mayor of Vorotan, and Lusine Avetyan, the leader of Karahunj.
