No Personnel Purge Expected: No Imitation of Work - Argishti Kyaramyan's First Meeting at the Investigative Committee

Argishti Kyaramyan, after being appointed as the head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, held his first meeting today with the committee and department staff. This information was reported by the Investigative Committee.

In his speech, the head of the Investigative Committee noted that the work of an investigator is very close to him. It was his first job after obtaining a legal education.

Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him by the acting Prime Minister and the Government, Argishti Kyaramyan emphasized that he has taken over the position of chairman of the Investigative Committee from a person whose work, dedication, and responsibility are exemplary for all system employees. “Hayk Grigoryan and I have been and will remain good friends,” said the head of the Investigative Committee.

Referring to rumors circulating on the internet about an impending personnel purge in the Investigative Committee, Chairman Argishti Kyaramyan specifically mentioned that this is not the case at all. “During my time as Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee, I have seen a large group of professionals with whom I will continue to work in the future. We need to clarify the principles and approaches to our work; there will be no imitation of work. It is unacceptable to talk about work without actually working,” he stated.

An additional point that the Chairman emphasized was responsibility, which is essential for effective work. Argishti Kyaramyan wished everyone a fruitful service and success in their further collaboration.
