Nikol Pashinyan Receives Russia's Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin. Pashinyan emphasized that the Armenian government attaches great importance to the continuous development of Armenian-Russian allied relations in political, economic, security, and humanitarian areas.
According to the acting Prime Minister, both countries have a broad agenda for cooperation, and the governments are undertaking dynamic work towards its realization. Pashinyan also highlighted the importance of Armenian-Russian strategic cooperation in the context of overcoming the unstable situation in the region, underscoring Russia's key role in ensuring security.
Ambassador Kopirkin noted that the development of allied relations with Armenia is of primary importance for Russia, as evidenced by the active dialogue, communication, and cooperation between the leaders of the two countries and their government representatives.
During the meeting, the interlocutors addressed the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations, developments in the region, and other issues of mutual interest.
