Yerevan City Council Makes Historic Decision, Says Hakob Karapetyan

Hakob Karapetyan, the spokesperson for the Yerevan Municipality, stated: “The Yerevan City Council has just made an extremely important, if not historic, decision. According to this decision, unauthorized structures erected on community-owned land in Yerevan can henceforth be demolished by the order of the Yerevan Mayor, regardless of the degree of completion of the structure or whether it is subject to legalization or not. This essentially addresses the issue of illegal structures resulting from the seizure of community land.”
