Who Will Be Appointed as Deputy Prime Ministers? Foreign Minister Candidates Revealed.
The newspaper "Past" reports: "Despite the Constitutional Court continuing its deliberations on the unified case regarding the challenge of the results of the June 20 extraordinary parliamentary elections, and the uncertainty surrounding the decision expected on July 17, discussions are actively underway within the government regarding prospective candidates for various positions.
According to our sources, the most challenging appointment is that of the Foreign Minister. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wishes to appoint someone not from the 'system', but rather a political figure. Hence, it appears that the candidacy of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has been chosen, who, by the way, has been quite active recently in matters of international relations and negotiations.
Furthermore, the same sources indicate that the former head of the Central Bank of Armenia, Arthur Javadyan, and one of Pashinyan's most loyal ‘allies’, the acting Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, will also be appointed as Deputy Prime Ministers.
