Putin and Lukashenko Meeting Concludes After Over 5 Hours
The meeting between the presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, has concluded in St. Petersburg, lasting over 5 hours. According to Armenpress, this was reported by Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
The two leaders met at the Konstantinovsky Palace, where they discussed the economic situation and developments in international relations. The President of Belarus highlighted the ongoing pressure from the West, emphasizing that amidst sanctions, the country manages to remain afloat thanks to its connections with Russia.
This was the fourth meeting between Putin and Lukashenko in 2021.
