I Am More and More Convinced That Kyiv Does Not Need Donbas: Vladimir Putin
The attempts by Ukrainian authorities to impose order in Donbas through force and threats, as well as the failure to implement the Minsk agreements, increasingly convince that Kyiv does not need this region. This was stated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in an article about the "Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians."
"I am more and more convinced of this: Kyiv simply does not need Donbas. Why? Because, firstly, the residents of these areas will never accept the order that has been and is being forced upon them through violence, blockade, and threats," said the head of state.
