A Petition Submitted to the CEC to Lift Immunity of the Sisian Mayor

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia has submitted a petition to the Central Electoral Commission to lift the immunity of Sisian Mayor Artur Sargsyan. This information was reported to 24News by the Prosecutor's Office.

Artur Sargsyan is suspected of violating Article 308, Part 2 (abuse of official powers) and Article 314, Part 1 (inserting deliberately false information or entries into official documents for personal gain or other motives, or based on group interests, as well as the preparation or transfer of forged documents) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
