I Am Very Surprised: Arman Abovyan on Reports of BHK MPs Possibly Receiving Positions

The meeting between BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan and Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan raised eyebrows among many, as Tsarukyan had previously ruled out any possibility of cooperation and prospects on several occasions. ArmDaily.am has also learned that following this meeting, it is possible that some members of BHK may receive positions.

Specifically, the appointment of Arman Abovyan, Shake Isayan, and Vahe Enfjalyan to various deputy minister positions is being discussed.

In an interview with the media outlet, BHK faction secretary Arman Abovyan stated that he cannot provide details about the meeting for a very simple reason: he is not informed, but he believes that everything is on video. When asked whether BHK had ruled out cooperation with the ruling political force, and if possible avenues for collaboration have emerged after that meeting, he replied that he does not wish to make assumptions.

“I can say that there has been no significant change in our assessments regarding the actions or logic of the authorities,” he noted. Regarding the information that he, Shake Isayan, and Vahe Enfjalyan might receive certain positions, he responded that this is the first time he is hearing such information: “I am very surprised.”
