What Weather to Expect Over the Weekend
Attention: From July 9-14, a high level of fire danger is expected in the Ararat Valley and its foothills, the foothills of Vayots Dzor, the lowland areas of Syunik, and in Yerevan.
Across the country, on the afternoon of July 9, significant rainfall is anticipated in many regions, with occasional thunderstorms on the 10th in certain districts. From July 11-14, rain and thunderstorms are mainly expected in the afternoons and at night in several areas, with some locations experiencing hail.
Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 m/s, with gusty winds expected during thunderstorms reaching speeds of 20-25 m/s.
The air temperature will drop by 3-4 degrees during the day on July 9, while from July 11-13, it will gradually rise by 3-5 degrees.
In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected on July 9-10, with wind gusts of 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms. There will be no precipitation from July 11-14.
