Quarantine in Armenia to be Extended Until December 20
The quarantine in Armenia will be extended until December 20. This is stated in the government's decision.
“Guided by Articles 33 and 34 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Normative Legal Acts, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides to make the following amendments to the decision No. 1514-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on September 11, 2020, titled 'On Establishing Quarantine Due to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)':
- In the first point of the decision, replace the words 'July 11, 2021' with 'December 20, 2021.'
- Rephrase point 2.1 in the annex to the decision as follows:
“2.1. Instead of the certificate established by point 2 of this annex, the individual presents a certificate confirming full vaccination against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) according to the specified dosage guidelines of the given vaccine (with a dose), for a vaccine administered in one dose, the certificate must indicate that the administration occurred at least 28 days (4 weeks) ago, and for vaccines administered in multiple doses, the last dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior, which serves as the vaccination certificate. The vaccination certificate can be in Armenian, Russian, or English, and must include the name of the leader of the administering organization, as well as the name and surname of the vaccinated individual, the identification document number, date of birth (day, month, year), production name of the vaccine, series, the dates of each dose administration (day, month, year), signed by the head of the organization and sealed with the organization's stamp, or include a barcode (QR code) through which it is possible to verify compliance with all requirements relating to the vaccination certificate specified in this point, or the acceptability of the format of the certificate provided by a foreign state has been approved by the competent authority of the Republic of Armenia based on the principle of reciprocity. The individual can also present the vaccination certificate via a mobile application or a printed version generated from the mobile application.”
- Remove the sentence 'Members of foreign official delegations are also exempt from point 3 of this annex provided that they present a negative result of a PCR test (no older than 72 hours) or the vaccination certificate established by point 2.1.' from point 9 of the annex.
- Point 17 of the annex is declared null and void.
This decision enters into force on the day following its official publication.
