Surén Papikyan Places His Spokesperson in a New Position: A Deputy Director Role Opens in the Territorial Development Fund
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that the Minister of Territorial Administration of Armenia, Surén Papikyan, has appointed his spokesperson, Armine Muradyan, as the Deputy Director of the Territorial Development Fund. A special deputy director position has been created for the former spokesperson.
Previously, the organization had a deputy director focused on finance, a role that was held by Lyova Dulyan, the brother of the well-known television commentator Armen Dulyan. However, the long-time and experienced Dulyan was recently relieved of his duties, and the staff has been supplemented with a young and inexperienced candidate who is not well-versed in the spokesperson’s duties.
It is noteworthy that despite Surén Papikyan’s impending appointment as Vice Prime Minister, he has decided not to let go of this lucrative sector, which is considered Papikyan’s “business.” In this area, he has placed numerous acquaintances, friends, and relatives who receive high salaries.
For instance, the salary of the deputy director of the fund is around 600,000 drams, which is more than that of a member of parliament. According to colleagues in the system, Papikyan’s young spokesperson struggles to differentiate between a “public organization” and a “foundation.”
