Robbery in Hrazdan: 300,000 AMD and a Gold Ring Stolen from Homeowner
The Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee has initiated an investigation into the circumstances of a robbery involving a resident of Hrazdan, as reported by the committee's Information and Public Relations Department.
According to preliminary data, at around 03:00 on July 9, 2021, an individual allegedly committed a crime by breaking and opening a plastic window with the intent to steal property, illegally entering an apartment in Hrazdan and attacking the homeowner. During this time, under the threat of deadly violence using a knife as a weapon, the suspect demanded and stole approximately 300,000 AMD and a gold ring before fleeing the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Kotayk Regional Investigative Department under Article 175, Part 2, Points 3 and 4 of the RA Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing, and measures are being taken to identify, locate, and present the alleged perpetrator to the prosecuting body.
