Where is the Mayor of Kajaran Manvel Paramazyan, who was brought to Yerevan by the NSS?

The Mayor of Kajaran, Manvel Paramazyan, is not present at the Investigative Department of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia. This was reported by his lawyer, Ervand Varosyan, on his Facebook page.

"No specific information is being provided about his whereabouts. The Office of the Human Rights Defender has been informed by the NSS Investigative Department that he is to be presented to the department, but when that will happen is unknown," he wrote.

It is noted that, since the morning, NSS employees have been conducting searches at the residence and vehicle of the Mayor of Kajaran, after which he was taken into custody. Searches were also carried out at the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, following which one person was arrested.
