Tsarukyan Does Not Plan to Leave the Political Arena
The newspaper "Hayastani Hanrapetutyun" reports: "Despite the fact that the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) did not surpass the electoral threshold in the parliamentary elections, the party leader Gagik Tsarukyan does not intend to leave the political arena. The BHK is gradually overcoming the post-election shock, and last week Tsarukyan urged the party activists to take a break, stating that they will meet in September to discuss their future actions.
The BHK believes that the party will remain actively involved in political processes, but for now, it will take a pause. They plan to strengthen the "Kentron" TV channel, former lawmakers are expected to appear frequently on air, and they will not sever ties with citizens. There is even a possibility that they will participate in street protests.”
