Shots Fired Two Days Ago for Five Minutes, Everything is Normal Now: Head of Verin Shorzha Community

Yesterday, Azerbaijan provoked gunfire in the border area of Verin Shorzha village in the Gegharkunik region, resulting in one injured Armenian serviceman. Artem Yeranosyan, the head of the administrative district of Verin Shorzha, told Hraparak that everything is normal at the moment: "There is no tension. Those shots were fired two days ago for five minutes and have since passed. There was one serviceman with a minor injury; the border guards are stationed, and there is no movement from the other side; they are in their place."

According to the head of the administrative district, residents are occupied with farming and focused on their daily work: "Nothing out of the ordinary has happened; in fact, the residents did not even know that shots had been fired."
