Hovik Aghazaryan on His Son's Appointment as Deputy Mayor of Ajapnyak

I don't know whether the order has been issued or not, but he has received an offer. This was stated by Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the 'My Step' parliamentary faction, in an interview with Tert.am, regarding his son Hovsep Aghazaryan's appointment as the Deputy Mayor of Ajapnyak.

As for the corruption risks, he noted that everything should be viewed in the context of time and substance.

“He is 30 years old, has worked in the legal department of the municipality. Over time, you should observe; I have three sons, shouldn't they work?” he said.

When asked how much his influence contributed to this offer, he replied, “My influence has been less than ten percent since he is a well-established member of the team; everyone knows him and is aware of his capabilities.”
