Fire at the Vorotan-2 Electrical Substation

On July 6, at 19:21, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received information that vegetation was on fire along the road leading to the village of Gndevaz.

Two firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department were dispatched to the site. It was determined that the fire broke out at the Vorotan-2 electrical substation, located 1 kilometer along the road to Gndevaz, and in the adjacent area.

The fire was contained by 20:25 and extinguished by 20:53. Approximately 200 square meters of vegetation and 120 liters of oil from the substation's transformer were burned.
