81 Livestock Have Crossed the Border: Gegharkunik Governor
We have 81 livestock that have crossed to the other side: we do not have a definitive solution in that direction, and negotiations are ongoing. This was stated by the Governor of Gegharkunik, Gnel Sanosyan, during a press conference.
Sanosyan noted that these animals belong to 5 families. “We are working with them, we have met. During this time, we have also provided some small financial support. Now we have to wait and see if the animals will return; if they do, they will come back, if not, the state will take some action,” he said.
Regarding pastures, the governor mentioned that they have certain issues after the war. “There are places where there are difficulties with the use of pastures and hay fields, especially after May 13. But we also have areas where our military corps is concentrating additional forces to ensure that residents feel more secure,” he added.
Sanosyan also stated that work in high-altitude areas has not yet begun, expressing hope that problems will be resolved before work starts, allowing residents to carry out their activities peacefully.
