37-Year-Old Driver Hits Pedestrian, Victim Dies En Route to Hospital

On July 6, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 4:40 PM, 37-year-old Sedrak Gasparyan, a resident of the Kotayk region, hit a female pedestrian with his Nissan Sunny in the administrative area of Sardarapat village.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and helped transport the injured pedestrian to the 'Armavir' medical center in an Opel Zafira vehicle alongside citizens. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital, after which the incident was reported to the Armavir police department.

The police and the investigative department are working to establish the identity of the deceased. By the investigator's order, the vehicle involved in the accident has been moved to a designated storage area under the supervision of the Armavir police department.
