Tropical Storm Elsa Approaches Cuba: 180,000 Evacuated
Cuban authorities have evacuated at least 180,000 people from the central and eastern regions of the island due to Tropical Storm Elsa, according to TASS, referencing the Associated Press.
It has been noted that the storm is expected to hit the island on Monday. Currently, at least three people have lost their lives due to the tropical storm—two in the Dominican Republic and one in Saint Lucia. Additionally, infrastructure has sustained significant damage.
