The US, Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania to Conduct Large-Scale Military Exercises
Ukraine, the US, Poland, and Lithuania will hold large-scale military exercises in western Ukraine at the end of July, Ukrainian military officials announced.
The "Three Swords-2021" exercises, involving more than 1,200 soldiers and over 200 combat vehicles, will take place from July 17-30 at the Yavoriv military base in Lviv region.
According to the military officials' statement, cited by Reuters, the "Three Swords-2021" aims to create favorable conditions for the development of partner states' units and effective cooperation to improve quality and elevate combat readiness levels.
Last week, Ukraine and the US initiated the Sea Breeze exercises in the Black Sea, with participation from more than 30 countries.
