Father of Child Injured by Papikyan's Vehicle Responds to Hraparak's Questions

The health condition of the minor from Surenavan village in the Ararat region, who suffered serious injuries from the collision with Suren Papikyan's Toyota Land Cruiser, is improving and is currently recovering. The father of the child, Vahen, stated this in an interview with Hraparak.

According to him, after the incident, law enforcement officials visited their home and took statements. The father refused to answer questions about what specifically interested the authorities.

When asked whether Suren Papikyan, any officials, or even the driver had visited them or seen the child, he said, "Suren Papikyan was not there, and I will not answer any more questions about that."

Given that the father was not responding to questions, we inquired if he might have been intimidated or told to provide evasive answers. He noted, "No, they can't intimidate me; everything is normal." He also added that he has no complaints or demands from anyone: "My child is fine now; what complaint, what issue?"

It is worth noting that Papikyan's vehicle was reportedly traveling at a high speed when it collided with an oncoming Niva vehicle near Surenavan village in the Ararat region. As a result of the collision, the 14-year-old driver of the Niva sustained serious injuries.

According to circulating media reports, Suren Papikyan was in the vehicle, and those with him quickly removed the license plates, while the police were allegedly taking measures to cover up the accident.
