VIDEO: Flood in Crimea, dozens of houses inundated; one dead

In the Bahchisaray region of southwestern Crimea, more than 50 private homes have been flooded, reported Arkadiy Ozhigin, head of the Crimean Emergency Situations Ministry.

According to Izvestia, due to adverse weather conditions in Crimea, one person has died and another is missing. Ozhigin stated that rescuers are working on site, and efforts are being made in cooperation with local authorities to evacuate residents from the affected homes. The head of the administration emphasized that the situation is under control.

Ozhigin noted that the ministry is deploying forces in the area. Night shifts have been established in residential areas along the banks of the Belbek River.
