One of the Injured in Collision between Toyota and Mercedes in Lori Province Dies
On July 1, a 48-year-old resident of Vanadzor, Hrach Mkrtchyan, died in the hospital. According to shamshyan.com, he was admitted to the hospital on June 27 following a car accident in Lori Province, where his Toyota Land Cruiser Prado collided with a Mercedes driven by 42-year-old Gurgan Danielyan, resulting in two people being hospitalized.
As previously reported by SHAMSHYAN.com, a major car accident occurred on June 27 in Lori Province. Around 1:50 PM, the vehicles driven by Hrach Mkrtchyan and Gurgan Danielyan collided on the Vanadzor-Dilijan highway at the 6th km mark. Following the collision, the Toyota went off the roadway, hit a reinforced concrete barrier, broke it, and rolled about 20 meters into a gorge.
As a result of the accident, driver H. Mkrtchyan and his passenger, 48-year-old Georgi Arzumanyan, both residents of Vanadzor, were transported with injuries to the Vanadzor Medical Center. The Vanadzor firefighter-rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene with one firefighting unit.
