Georgia Tightens Entry Rules for Foreigners

Georgia is tightening its entry rules for foreigners starting July 5. As of this date, presenting a negative PCR test for coronavirus at the border is mandatory for everyone, including vaccinated individuals, when crossing both land and air borders, reports Sputnik Georgia, citing the Georgian government's website.

Previously, the Georgian Ministry of Health had reported that coronavirus was detected in approximately 400 foreigners who recently arrived in the country. Additionally, it has been revealed that some tourists at Kutaisi Airport were found to have fake COVID passports.
